Aluminium sulphate is a fertiliser for acid loving plants such as Hydrangeas, Azaleas, Camellias, Rhododendrons and Blueberries. It works by reducing the pH of your soil which helps acid loving plants access nutrients.

Aluminium sulphate will also enhance and deepen the blue colour of your hydrangeas and also help make pink hydrangeas blue.
Aluminium sulphate should be applied at a rate of 30g per square metre of garden around the drip line of your plants about 2-3 times per year. More can be added to further enhance the blue colour of your hydrangeas.
